Through the Stream Cares Foundation, Stream Energy has been involved in charitable work across the United States for 12 years. Stream Cares Foundation, which is the philanthropic arm of Stream Energy partners with other like-minded organizations to provide the much-needed support in the hour of need. Some of the most notable partners include the Hope Supply Company, Operation Once in a Lifetime, Habitat for Humanity, and the American Red Cross among others. In several occasions, the Stream has collaborated to American veterans through various interventions to uplift their morale, building new homes for the homeless, and providing the needy children and their families with basic needs.
Through the Stream Cares Foundation, Stream Energy has partnered with the Hope Supply Company to assist the needy members of society in Dallas. Together, they have donated essential items like clothing, school supplies, diapers and other essential commodities to the less privileged families in Dallas. Additionally, the streamed has funded an excursion for the Dallas children to visit waterparks around the area. The stream generously donated to the Splash for Hope events by the Hope Supply Company, for more than 1,000 children to enjoy the excursion. The event provided a rare opportunity for the children to have fun together.
Last year, Stream Energy donated a total of $15,000 to assist tornado victims in Texas. In partnership with the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, the stream Care offered about 13,000 meals and provided more than a dozen overnight stays in various shelters. Through the donation, the American Red Cross afforded to offer and deliver more than 4,600 assorted relief items. This is not the first time that the Stream Foundation has partnered with the American Red Cross to provide relief to disaster-stricken communities. In Early 2017, Stream Cares Foundation pledged to donate a $1 to the Red Cross for every new customer sign up from April, the same year.
In partnership with the Hope Supply Company, the Stream also helped to shelter the families, which were rendered homeless by the Hurricane Harvey. Stream Energy was one of the few Dallas-based companies to finance the recovery and alleviate the financial loss of the disaster-stricken families in Houston.
